Active Heroes Retreat Center in Shepherdsville, KY has been named the official winner of July’s Build Your America Contest. Active Heroes is an IRS approved 501c3 Charity whose mission is to support all U.S. military service members, veterans and their families through physical, educational, and emotional programs in an effort to eliminate suicide. Active Heroes is planning to use their $10,000 prize to build a welcome center at the Shepheardsville, KY retreat site.
